My first pennant excitement is over the Braves. I grew up in the south enjoying many years of last place finishes before the 90's. Now I am hoping that a makeshift pitching staff other than Smoltz and Hudson can somehow help us get back to October baseball. I hear those groans from my hottie but just think of it as more planned knitting time:)
